Our Done.com office orders lunch every Monday from some generic restaurant in the neighborhood. As much as I love chowing down on warm, soggy egg rolls and mystery meat bits, it was time to shake things up.  We decided to ask one of the talented chefs on Done.com to cook lunch for us instead. The process was super easy—I just posted a task to all Doers in the “Help with my Party” category and described what we needed: lunch for 10 people, at 1pm, vegetarian, for $200 total (including all the food supplies).  Doer Emily A. responded immediately, putting our take-out worries to rest. 

She showed up right at 1pm with a pep in her step and a smile on her face (the delivery people we usually get aren’t nearly that adorable).  We munched on crunchy salad with apples, cranberries, and fresh dill in a lemon/mustard vinaigrette. She also made us garbanzo burgers on brioche bread with avocado mayo and sprouts that were so delicious that even the carnivores in the office commented on how tasty they were.

Emily A. brought our office a scrumptious, healthy, homemade lunch for the same amount we would have paid a restaurant! We will only order lunch via Done.com from now on—it’s much healthier and we like the surprise of not knowing exactly what we’re going to get!
